In North Texas, we are proud of our military and are home to a large veteran population. These brave men and women have sacrificed everything, from their health to their lives, to keep our nation safe and free. Veterans are experiencing poverty at an alarming rate and we want to change that. Catholic Charities employs a dedicated on-site case manager and mental health counselor to ensure veterans and active-duty military in our community, along with their families, have access to resources, financial assistance, counseling and coaching.
